Default Latest Ebay Scam

well here we go again, as if Ebay didn't already suck.

The latest rounds of changes to the Nazi Ebay has come. Now they are charging you final value fees on shipping. that's right they get there 10% on the sell of the item, which is high in the first place. But now they are taking an additional 10% on what you charge for shipping. WTF ? and on top they take another 5% on Paypal. they managed to sneak that in on people. Think it is time for my just to start chunking my crap in the garbage. cheaper that way. What a rip off

I sold a Tiller for a Montgomery Wards tractor on Ebay. sold it for $200 and Fastenal shipping was $125. Ebay took $20 from the sale of the tiller and then 12.50 from the shipping and 9.73 from paypal. It cost me $42.25 to sell the tiller should have just scrapped it.

I agree. I sold a bike on Ebay and couldn't believe how much went to them just for "fees."

I never sold anything on Ebay but I'm pretty sure scrap pays about $9 per 100 lbs here in GA. I put my stuff on CL cause I'm cheap and like meeting some strange people.

Y'all r nuts, I get my fill of crazies just going to work! All those fees remind me of one particular bank in town. They will charge a 50 cent fee per roll of change, a roll of pennies worth 50¢… so 1.00 to get a roll of pennies.

Ebay... hope it bites them n the butt

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
