Ive always gotten it by simply heating with my propain torch and give it a good solid wack with my 3lb and I turn it around and wack it again. Usually does the trick within 3 hits

Since you are considering air tools, I have always wondered what a palm nailer would do with pin removal. I have a palm nailer, but it always seems to be miles away when I need it and I cannot afford to buy 2 or 3 sets of tools every time I need them.

If that's what you guys are talking about, then yes, I knew that. Those are just drift punches. I want a roll pin punch for the end of an air chisel.

I just found this......
I did not know they had them. Bad news..... only goes down to 1/4". IIRC the driveshaft uses a 3/16"

Another day of PB Blast and beatings!!! Still nothing Even had my neighbor come over who is a mechanic to look things over just so it's not just me. We are going to try some cobalt or carbide drill bits and see if we can drill this out. I don't have a heat source hot enough to make much happen here. Just those little ones you use to sweat pipes when doing plumbing. This really does stink!!! Finally got this engine running and want to finish this project up

Thanks for the bit info. The pointy bits just mushroom out the pin more then pushes it down. I'll go and try to find that other but but the one I did find cost close to $50! That's a little crazy for a bit I think. I've found them on ebay for way less but they only go down to 1/4. So are you saying that will work DM?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
