Default Bought a 122 Sunday

I added to my 1X2 collection. It's a pretty nice 122. The mule bracket has been welded to the frame. I got an extra seat, but both need upholstered. The engine runs strong but has a knock mid rpm range. Gonna look into that! It has a Carter carb on it. I will try it out on the other 2 that have Walbros. Came with a pair of weights and powder coated front wheels. Even has the original steering wheel cap
It's missing the rock shaft for the sleeve hitch
He had a deck for an O that's condition matches my O's about right

Thanks guys! I think it will get the creeper that's sitting on the shelf. Then I just need a stogie lighter, Grote light, rockshaft, and hydro lift.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
