Glad that I smoked in 3rd grade, chewed tobacco in 4th grade and drank alcohol in 5th grade.....got it out of my system early and my collecting baseball card hobby outweighed those vices. Now I have no desire for any of them....except sometimes the alcohol. My dad would go out of control whenever I'd hide his smokes to try to get him to quit when he didn't want to.
So glad that you started this thread......It never occurred to me to use the lighter socket for something besides a cigarette plug. I have 3 and can put them to another use. JMech, you asked about what would you do if you wanted both the cig lighter and electric lift---turn up the fuel jet on the carb to make the muffler glow and then light up and use the hole for electric lift. HoundDog, I really hope you kick that habit. It sounds like it is time!! Lost a really good friend to it. We are pulling for you. Maybe a tractor pull or plow day for charity (American Heart Assoc. or something like that) would really be neat. Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
