Cub Cadet 1512 Diesel value
SOLD FOR SALE Cub Cadet 1512 with a 3 cyl. Kubota Diesel Engine.
The 1512 is in excellent mechanical condition, Body and all sheetmetal is likewise in good condition. The engine has 789 hours. The Dash has an Engine Tempeture Gage; an Amp Meter; an Engine Hour Gage; an Oil Pressure Indicator; and a Glow Plug Indicator. The engine also has a plug in engine block heater for cold weather starts. I have for it the following accessories: 1) 50” Mower Deck 2) 44” Snow Blower 3) 44” Front Blade 4) Snow Chains. 5) Four Chrome Hub Caps 6) 1-7/8 Hitch Ball This 1512 has an electronic PTO which operates the blade on the Mower Deck and the augers on the Snow Blower. It also has a hydraulic system which operates the lift on the Mower Deck, and the lift on the Snow Blower. The lift on the front blade is likewise operated off the 1512’s hydro. system as well as the left and right swivel on the blade itself. I have owned this Cub Cadet since the late 80’s and have original manuals as well as receipts for all repairs done and parts bought. Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
