Default 1811 Carburetor Question

New to the forum. I just acquired an 1811 that has been sitting for a while and I am trying to get it back going again. I want to rebuild the carburetor and am having the toughest time figuring out what kit to get.

The tractor has the original Kohler M18 with Walbro WHG series carb, but I am getting different answers from different sources about what kit to buy. A local parts shop pointed me to a "K1-WHG" kit, but the Kohler M18 service manual that I am looking at calls for a "25 757 11" kit. Unfortunately, the engine ID tag is gone from the engine so I cannot identify it any further than M18. Does anyone know the correct part number for the rebuild kit for this unit?

First, welcome to OCC.....

The 1811 rolled out of Factory with a M18-24506 engine in it.

The correct Carb Rebuild kit is: 25 757 11 Kit

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
