Default carb help
I have a 1210 i got recently. A Kohler 17 series II engine was put into it a few years ago. I seem to be having carb issues at times. What i mean as i cut the grass it will run perfect , idle perfect. no issues . Other times i will be cuttting and all of a sudden it starts to sputter and then dies. If i kill the PTO prior to it dying and lower throttle it wont die. Any ideas of what could be causing this.

Clean your tank, new fuel filter, new fuel line, clean carb and install carb kit.

If it has a Walbro Carb, you may want to change it out for a Kohler Carb....
