I was thinking Mike's. I didn't know Lew had one?
I haven't seen Allen much either. I hope everything's ok.

I'm reading this thread and it's giving me flashbacks of restoring my 800 that was missing all the hard to find parts. Needless to say it now has all the hard to find parts and is back close to it's original condition. I won't speak for everyone but half the fun for me is finding the hard to find stuff. It takes a lot of homework and $ sometimes to find one and they are never worth what you have in them but it's fun nonetheless. Rare stuff is always cool.

I just got an email from the gentleman saying he has a buyer lined up for Saturday. He will let me know if it falls through.

I got the same answer but I wasn't going to drive to get it anyway. Just wanted to see if it sold. Out of my 50 or so mile driving radius.
Price wise I didn't see Charlie having any problem getting 3500 for the one he listed on his site last year. Not saying it's worth that but it was to someone.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
