Ya the channel locks hold the tips very good with a set screw they've never slipped on me

Here's a couple shots of what I work on. Do you think I might know a good tool when I use one? This may come as a shocker to you ...... but there are actually people out there who may know a tad bit more about this topic than you.

I'll agree they do have a good warranty, we had a guy working for us that was all about craftsman and he spent many of his lunch breaks standing in line at sears to get his junk replaced.

I see an Oshkosh front axle. I bet it goes in something like this.

Always hated working on those backwards concrete trucks-they run them into the ground down here. They are a DOT inspector's field day.

It's no different here. The fleet we took care of was the same way. (Yes, "took" care of.... not anymore. They were bought out and the new owner and I didn't get along to say the least.)

At one time I owned 22 of those. Didn't have much trouble with DOT because we took very good care of our stuff. Had one DOT inspector try to park one because he thought it had a cracked air brake hose. Truck was 2 days old and the paint on the hose had a crack from flexing. Concrete guys around this area run stuff that should be cut up for scrap. I don't miss those days at all.

They are downright scary here, and kill folks from time to time. One rolled over last fall near my house, took them all morning to get it upright and the driver out. Guy never had a chance anyway, he was kinda smeared.

I didn't like working on them, you never know when they wanna come back on you for touching the darn thing. Liability is a scary thing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
