But those arms on the aerator look too wimpy to resist twist and collapse.
I'm not going to use those, I'm going to build a frame out of square tubing to bolt/weld under the weight tray. Those arms are going to come off.

Well, took a little bit to gather everything up but here it is.
Started out with 75#, then got brave and went up to 150#. All I need now is an implement pin.

Wow, that is one bad a$$ lookin sleeve hitch adapter you have there! Where on earth did you get that?

If I were going to do a core aerator, that is exactly how I would do it.

What's funny about the whole thing is, I hadn't noticed it in the picture, Betsy walked behind me and said "Hey, there's one of your things"... I said "one of my what things, where?" Then she pointed it out.

I really didn't know if it was one of mine or not.

But what the heck, we can call it a shameless plug if you like.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
