Well, got about 8 inches of snow here, struggled a bit with traction due to no chains but got it cleared off. That Mag 20 is a gas guzzler! It did the job though, getting chains for next year(yes, that's I said a week ago too, should have gotten them then).

6" and it will be gone by Sunday! Must be nice!

Snowing here lightly now. No accumulation to speak up. Just a dusting. We'll see how the day goes......

Thanks Terry but it looks better when it's nice and green. Only a couple more weeks and it will be mowing time.

That's some wishful thinking right there.

You took the words right outta my mouth, I was thinking the same thing when I saw those pictures. And I'm also surrounded by cornfields...flat, flat, flat, fields of corn...boring.

Still think it looks better when it's green.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
