Default Electric sprayer

I bought a 12v Electric Sprayer last year for $5. After I took it apart I found the battery was bad, the pump was bad and no charger. This sprayer was designed to be charged up and pulled around by hand or you could buy optional straps for a backpack sprayer.

Well it was easier to just modify it for tractor use. I wired it to the battery and have the switch down by my seat for easy use. I plan to make the wiring permanent.

NOTE: This sprayer was made here in Oklahoma!!

Sure beats the weedeater

It's a little hard to see in the pictures, but the PO has added a couple of pieces of square tubing under the seat. It raises the seat up a little, and they didn't drill any extra holes to do it, just used the existing holes and longer bolts. I think it was done so they could mount a bigger battery in it. I plan to use these extra pieces to mount a water jug holder, and a switch or 2.

Yes I plan to buy a battery hold down as well.

Default Cub Cadet Deck

I didn't steal your idea, but I did see a deck on another Cub Cadet and made mine a little Different, I can just lift up on it and it comes right off, I have a 15 Gallon beer barrel with two pumps on a Snapper Mower I have used for years, but the snapper has about had it. so I went and got a 25 Gallon spray tank the other day and went to work and this is what I came up with, and it works great.

The PO added 2 pieces of 1 1/2 square tubing under the seat to raise the seat up, and I've been thinking I can use these pieces and build a rack of some sort to mount a 15 gal sprayer on it. Something I can add or remove quickly. Right now it is sitting on top of my hitch and strapped to the back.

Default Cub Cadet Sprayer

Hi Amigatec: You did a job Well Done, And the price was Right, your cadet is a little older then mine, but it can still be fitted with a quick hitch like mine,
I used 1 1/2 angle iron 3/16 for the frame, it holds the tank and frame at about 250 lbs. And I think it will hold a little more, if you want or need anymore info on my rig let me know and I will e-mail you better pictures or I could put them on here, it is just a little harder to do . Good Luck.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
