Your post is a little vague, what did you have done, was it doing this before, did you make the afore mentioned repairs to eliminate this problem or for another reason?

Will it not run at all, or does it not run at all well?

If it were mine, I would most likely take it apart (again) soak the carb. overnight in carb. cleaner then blow out all of the passages with compressed air including the high speed needle, flush the tank and lines and clean/replace whatever type filter you have, check the float for saturation, put a new kit in the carb. and put it all back together again.

It's my guess that some crud in the system became dislodged and has caused a blockage in a crucial area of the system (more than likely between the fuel line fitting on the side of the carb. and the needle valve).

Great advice given already.....just wanted to add that you might check your adjustment screws. The main fuel jet should be set to 2 turns and the low idle jet should be set to 2 1/2 turns. Some adjustment might be made to these, but these are per Kohler manual.

Hope things work out for you,

That is why I mentioned "some adjustment might be made to these....", especially if he planed his head, change to run more rich/lean, etc.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
