Anytime someone posts a thread on "what is it worth?", then the answer is both simple and complex. The simple answer is that the value of anything is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it as with anything else you sell. The more complex answer is dependent upon many factors, some you can control and others that you cannot. Some of these factors are: location (small items are easily shipped, but others are not....the cozy cab is not), condition, season (cabs tend to bring more money in winter when they are needed than in the off season), rarity (though with the internet, I am not convinced that anything but honesty is rare these days), usefulness (obviously, if your cozy cab only fits a certain model of tractor, then that affects value and that brings in other factors, like if that specific model(s) are desirable to have/use). Okay, I am sure that I forgot a lot, but someone else will kindly suggest that for you.

A cozy cab for a 782 came up for sale in my area for $600 on the local CL, but did not sell. I find it hard to pay anymore than $300 for a cab for my tractor. Start high and negotiate down if you want. If it were, mine, I would sell it in the fall and start around $400 or $450 and adjust it down each week. Your cab looks to be in very good shape, so I would not take less than around $250 for it.

Wasn't trying to be a sassy at the beginning, but we see a lot of the "what is it worth" threads here and the question has become rhetorical for us.

Good luck on the sale of your cab,

Cub Cadet 123

*Not debating*

I'm not going to give you a value, but I will say I own two Cozy Cabs. One was in as good of shape as yours. I didn't pay $250 for either of mine. One I got off a friend, one I bought off a member here.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
