Default Moldboard plow adjustment
just making sure i do this correctly. as i understand it i just put 6x6's under the left hand tires then adjust the plow till its flat of the ground, is that it? thanks

That's what I did and it seemed to work.

Find somebody at the plow day to help you fine tune your plow settings.

Tim setting the left tires on 6bys will be a very good starting point. You will still have to do some fine tuning in the furrow. You will be plowing like a champ in no time. Can't wait to meet you tomorrow. See ya there.

I always put my front tire on a 4x6 or 6x6 too. Meaning both front and back left side tires on a 4x6 or 6x6.

Yes I do as well. Should have mentioned that. Doesn't take any time at all to dial a moldboard in.

Thats what I did with mine (also used a plow for the first time this year). Seemed to work really well for me. I had to adjust slightly in the furrow but nothing to drastic. Pulled nice and easy to

I'm gonna have to put the plow on one of my tractors one of these days and see what all this fuss is about.

Personally, I just don't think it could get any better than tillin garden with a Cub. Maybe this old dog can learn a new trick?
