Default The Perfect Job for Retired Cubs

Hi all,
Pic of the oldest boy dragging the baseball field after practice. The POS mower they had to drag the infield gave up so my oldest said he would do it. Now it gets done with style! Everybody commented how fast the 129 moves. I figured that it's not much different than just driving around, it doesn't pull hard or put any strain on the tractor, just gets a little dirty.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. Maybe we will retake the pic with a real camera and submit it for POTW.

Next week, take a cub with a Brinly plow on the back and drive it out on the field just to see people's reaction , then swap out for the 129 to do it's thing. Great to see the 129 and your son in action. Kind of reminded me of the golf ball drag catcher made for the cubs in the '60's!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
