No matter if im using my dedicated pos troy bilt for mowing or one of my cub gts which dosnt happen very often I usualy run with the gauge wheels a half inch to a inch off the ground....in my yard that puts at least one wheel on the ground at all times. Just something I've always done for some reason

Mine ride the ground on the rear rollers to stripe the lawn and the front casters have some of the weight but not all.

I use this handy little doohickey and set blades so they are about an 1/8" to 1/4" lower when at the front of the deck and spot on side to side.

How do you answer this poll when you have a 50" deck?

I guess I am both 50" and up and 50" and below. My deck rides on the subframe with the wheels roughly 3/4" off the ground when mowing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
