Default Tractor show pics

Made a trip up to Oregon, IL yesterday for a local GT Jamboree. Gotta say, despite some sketchy potential weather it turned out to be pretty nice. Lots of good people, good food, and more importantly, good machines there. Fun fact: most of the Cubs you see lined up and grouped together in 2 or 3 rows there all belong to one guy. It took him 4 trailer loads to get it all there Anywho, had a good time and will definitely attend again next year and hopefully bring something. Enjoy the pics guys and here's a link to a drone they had flying around capturing some good aerial views of the show.

Ryan,
Thanks for posting the pics. John sure does have a lot of cubs, some rare ones, too. His buddy Tim has the Super Smokers with the tiller, 2 bottom plow, and Brinly rear blade. Nice turnout for tractors, especially cubs. That drone vid was pretty neat. Thanks for sharing. When we first saw it flying around, we wondered if Amazon was delivering something.

I've been to John's shop, it is impressive to say the least. Cubs as far as the eye can see, even stacked on pallet racks. He's a NF guy, though, so no love for the WF or Cyclops lovers out there. Maybe one day

And Tim...why does that name sound familiar? Is he a member here? I feel like I should know him...

The drone: I caught a one quick couple second clip of me and my buddy in it, it was actually a lot of fun to see if we made the cut and searching for us in the video

Great pics an and even better video. It was shot great and the music selection was excellent.

Looks like a great time. I miss going to those kind of shows. They don't have them where I live, but do where i grew up.

That was pretty cool, Thanks

Rare JD pictured here in the close left corner, in 1969 they offered what is now known as the "Patio Series" in different colors due to loss of sales to other competitors

That John Deere Patio tractor is a pretty rare version of the Patio series. Most Patios were of the lower models. This one is a 140 H-3 which was a top of the line model. It had dual brakes, and triple hydraulics. The 140 H-3 tractor is a sought after John Deere.
It's unusual to find a Patio 140.

Seems like a good trade off. I can put five Cubs where one car sat and there are no titles or license to fool with!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
