Default Moved some dirt with the 1572
I had to go down the road to get a load of dirt today with my small trailer so I decided to take the Cub just to see how it would pull. Of course the way back is all up hill. It was definitely working. Pic and video below. It's a 5x8 trailer.

Cool vid. But got me thinking of the "what if" all at once a spiral pin breaks with that load going up hill? wouldn't be pretty....

I never thought about a spiral pin. I was more worried about the rear do to either the tongue weight or the stress coming up hill. These are certainly capable little tractors.

Well, I found the weak link in the driveline last night. Hauling a trailer full of mulch around my yard last night and the roll pin on the rear of the driveshaft in the clutch broke. I think you jinxed me.

I got a new pin from work today so I should be back in business tonight.
