Seriously Nick don,t chuck the crank out. Kustom small engine has .020 under rods for K301 kohlers. I've used a couple of there rods in the past with good success.

Nick that don't look bad atol. A little sho-goo and she'll be up and running in no time! But really I think you could rebuild that easily. Bore it or at least hone it, get the journal checked out and ground if need be, and you can get a complete rebuild kit on ebay for 100 dollars or less.

Justin, he didn't post enough pics to make a determination. You aren't saving that crank journal. Grinding is the only choice there is.

Wow that looks exactly like the damage one of my engines experienced when I ran it without oil on a 10 hp snow blower. Rusty crank and all.
