Default Hay bailing

Local farmer came in the other day to cut, bail and wrap the hay. These guys knock it out in a hurry. They got caught in a rain storm Tuesday and had to wait till yesterday to finish the job.

Ya know, too bad they do not utilize the interstate medians and sides for hay making.
No, we taxpayers pay to mow those areas year after year.

Traveled to Mt Pleasant Iowa once for an antique tractor show. Somewhere along the way I passed where a farmer had been round baling the median, think it was in Illinois. Only 2 issues I can see, liability and litter in the hay causing issues for the equipment and the livestock.

That's some fancy equipment they have my brother and I put up 200 square bales last week after he got off work ( it FINALLY got dry) with an old MF baler. Didn't get the 2nd trailer load in the barn until 10 PM, lol.

When I was in ND one time they did bale medians, but then they put it in a big pile and burnt it. I'm sure due to trash Etc. Not sure why they put it in bales in the first place though Maybe to keep the grass/weed seeds out of the fields.

Didn't take long for Sam's grass to get out of control after he sold that super.

Yep, he should have cut it a couple weeks ago when it was much better.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
