Wonder if he will respond. Listing says "NO EMAILS". Guess he doesn't know how Ebay works.

He gave his phone #, maybe he wants you to bid over the phone.

According to his feedback he has never sold an item on Ebay. All his feedback is from sellers.

Woops, I messaged him asking for a comprehensive list of what all was done to the machine during its restoration.

I guess now he thinks he has people from all over the country interested in the thing.

My first thought was that this was a retired trying to flip his first project.
But then I see a lifted Jeep in the background so I dunno.

My favorite part was that the upper link arms, one is on right and he other is upside down, UNTIL I realized that it doesn't appear to have a creeper gear.

After asking for a comprehensive list of what all was done to the machine during its restoration, I got a message back from the guy saying "Yes, it's a 108."

Now I see the listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

I think Tim went there and bought it out from under me!

You're in luck Mark.... Here's the link to the Craigslist ad for the one and the same 108 you want so badly:
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/grd/5112631789.html

Apparently, seller is asking a couple hundreds less than the Ebay ad. Go for it!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
