Guys the kid is asking for help not a bunch of crap.

Justin

1: No the fuel can not be gelled because it's too warm that happens when it get's cold enough for the paraffin that is a component of diesel settles out of the fuel and plugs the filter.

2: If the tractor has been sitting for a long time you could possibly have algae in the fuel. Drain the tank, clean it out and blow out or flush the fuel lines.

3: Replace all of the fuel filters and refill with fresh fuel.

4: If the above measures don't fix it then it probably has a problem in the pump or injectors.

Sounds like the machine is wore out and in need of a total rebuild with all the blow by coming out of the breather and the loss of power once it warms up.
Either prepare to spend Thousand's of $$$$$$$, or save $$$$ by getting a torch and cutting it up into 2foot x 3foot pieces for #1 prepared SCRAP.
Now that's some Valuable Information, FREE OF CHARGE !

Ya thats what should have been done years ago. But they decided to put in a new trans and the engine was rebuilt a decade or so ago. (not very good rebuild)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
