Default Ga cub cadet owners

Hi Matthew

Me and my dad have owned, used and collected Cub Cadets since the late 60's. We are right down the road in Bulloch County. Statesboro to be exact.
What kind of cubs do you have?

Thanks
Jay

Default Central Ga guy

Hi. I do not live near Waynesboro, but I know where it is. I live in Central Ga now, about half way tween atl and macon. I was raised in McBean/ south Augusta. Graduated from Hephzibah in the mid 70's. I travel to Augusta area a lot as Mom and other family are still in the area. That plus broadcast maintenance on GPB studios at Augusta College. ( dont care what they call it now.) Name is Andy

I'm here in Loganville, GA outside of Athens. I haven't posted in a while, started my own business a year ago and have been busy.

I bought my first Cub (The "O") in 2012 and added about one a year. Just picked up the 70 last Monday.

Here is the line-up>

Welcome Andy!

Nice line up. I'm a new member from Gainesville, just north of Atlanta. Don't own one yet, but hoping to find a good deal on an IH cadet with a hydraulic lift on the back for gardening soon. Don't seem to be a lot of good deals right now on CL but I keep looking.

Need one that's ready to work now and hope to get one to tinker with shortly after.

I have Nubian, and several Dwarf Nigerian goats and a few chickens.
I don't have any Cubbies yet. I had some at 1 time. I like the nf cubs the best.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
