I got one year out of the first one and two out of the second, both collapsed under heavy snowfall.

I used to live in Watertown CT where shelter logic is located. I had 3 of those tents. Two of them collapsed under snow. They wanted more for just the cover to replace the ones that failed than they did for the whole kit. Before and after collapse pics.

perhaps a steel carport would be better,i have heard unless you support the centers with poles they can collapse under heavy weight. and yes, replacement covers are expensive.....

Great score on the 122 and the blade will be very handy for someone this winter! That one has some nice goodies on it, too.
Lew, I had to go to a AllSteelCarport that is 18x20 to hold some of my extra cubs. I had a very nice 10x20 KingCanopy Tent and it lasted less than a month. Mine did not make it through the severe windstorms we had last fall, despite me anchoring it down with 30" anchors. My canvas held up just fine, but the tubular steel poles snapped like a toothpick. Now the AllSteelCarport is guaranteed for 120+ mph winds. Might be something to look into to protect your cubbies. Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
