As some of you know I am an ex-racer so when someone in the racing fraternity looses his life it hits home. Justin Wilson died from the impact to his head from the nose cone of another car in the Indy Car race at Pocono last weekend. RIP Justin Wilson. In passing he has given life to others.

I seen some video's of this incident. Looks like he accidentally hit some debris from a prior spin-out and he was in the wrong place and the right time.

Yup the nose cone came down on his head. Open wheeled drivers have my total respect, with their heads exposed like that and how the cars are practically destroyed in a wreck. RIP and prayers to his family.

He was airlifted to the local hospital. They have a top rated trauma center so I know he got the best care possible.
Only 37 and left a wife and two daughters. |

It is a sad day for racing and for the world. More than just a racer, he was a humanitarian and a mild mannered gent. My fiancee places student teachers and is also a very big IRL fan. She said that every spring he would even block off his schedule to spend time with one of her previously placed teachers and her 1st grade class. The world lost a great leader. May his memory live in our minds and hearts forever. Prayers to his family and all those whose life he touched.

I was watching Sunday and didn't have a good feeling during the extended caution. Looking at updates yesterday afternoon, I had an even worse feeling. Then late last night we found out he had passed. Very sad, no one has an unkind word to say about him. We are all at a loss for losing a man of his caliber. I am glad to hear so many lives saved through organ donation, even in passing, his giving continued. Our prayers continue for his family.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
