70 transmission oil
I'm sure this has been asked and answered before but that's a whole lot of threads to go through. What kind of oil do I put in the transmission of my 1964 model 70? I only have access to a tractor supply co. Thanks

I run 80w90 but you can also use hydrualic/transmission fluid.

Here is a new concept, download the manual from the tech library. It's free. Link for the manual,
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=4640 But I'll save you having to even do that. It calls for Hy-Tran or 30W engine oil. Gear oil will also work just fine. Your only dealing with a few gears and some bearings, it's not like it's the the space shuttle.
