Lew,

That looks really nice.. Is that a 402-A? its the exact one that I spent the day hanging under my 70!

Do you happen to know what size belts you used?? I got my mower hung but don't have either belt at the moment

My rear support comes out on the right side also. Seems only the early ones came out on the right side?

Thanks

It took me 4hrs,but I had to fix a few po mods. The drive belt is 36",the one on the bar is like 47 1/2 size as I was going to use a new one,48"was long and 47" too short.so I used the one that came with it.

LMAO, I thought the same thing, I didn't know that the earlier ones came out on the right either.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
