Took apart and cleaned up the carb today, found why it "hunts", had ALOT of gunk from sitting for so long. Looks like the good ole sea foam had don't a good job with softening it, but a couple of passages on the idle circuit were stopped up. Now she idles and runs at any throttle position without any choke. I guess that's to be expected with something that's got a few years of sitting and low hours on it. Did a compression test too, things are looking good for this ole' gal!

Too bad I may have to sell this too if I can't free up some cash by selling the 2182....

Well, its not as brute as my old 1450 was, but this thing is smooth, and cuts the lawn extremely well and is effortless to maneuver.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
