Default Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid--What Kind??
I was reading a thread about using a ultrasonic cleaner to clear carbs and small parts.Do these units use different fluids depending on what your cleaning.If most of what i want to clean will be small engine parts,is there a type of fluid i should use.If so what is the name and where can it be purchased.Thank you

I have some water based degreaser from harbor freight when I picked ip a parts washer. It would work well in an ultrasonic bath as well

Any water based degreaser/ cleaner fluid would be my choice (solvents would work, and would even cavitate at lower pressures, but I would stick to water based cleaners)

I have had my ultra sonic cleaner for 2 years and love it.

If a part is greasy I use tide laundry soap.

For others including carbs I use dawn dish soap.

Heat is important.
