Default A Heavy Heart

Hey guys,

I got a response on another site, I won't mention. It was an older thread from a little over three years ago. Some of you know, that I have bad eyes and Jenn helps me out. It was the thread of when I had the 100 with hydraulic lift, and I was using it with the front blade. Jenn was helping with telling me where to push the grass clippings. Some gentleman said, You should get your blind butt off the tractor, and let your wife do it! He didn't say butt, he said the other word. Now, I'm thinking of possibly leaving the cub hobby. I already feel bad, about having to ask people to help me with my cub all the time. That didn't make me feel any better.

As long as your enjoying yourself I wouldn't worry what others have to say, most people like that wouldn't have the balls to say it to your face so I wouldn't get to upset over it.

I agree with Tim, put them on the pay no mind list. If my eyesight gets worse, I'll have someone directing me before I give up the seat.

They can have my cub keys when they pry them from my cold dead fingers.

Allen don't toss in the towel on something you love just for the sake of another person's comment...A**holes like that should be envious of the accomplishments you have achieved!!!! I agree with Tim the keyboard makes a lot of people 10 foot tall and bullet proof!

Yeah, you should tell this person to get his Dumb A$$ off the computer and mind his own business.

What if Thomas Edison and Henry Ford had been worried about what other people said or thought....

Screw those other guys Allen! You have been an asset to the Cub community for a long time, especially here. I surf a lot of the L&G sites and there are a few that I get the felling I'm not liked. I don't care what others think. I do this hobby for one reason....I have fun, it takes my mind off of work and I've met a lot of great people over the few years I've been doing it(well, that's 3). Look at all the fun we have had at the few plow days we have been at together. I've never heard one complaint about you. Keep your head up buddy and Cub on!

What the others said, Allen don't listen to what others have to say, because it doesn't matter, cubs make you happy, it's ok to ask for help working on them, it's the same thing as someone who is not mechanically inclined.

C'mon Allen, don't let some foul mouthed meatball define who you truly are. If crap comes out of both ends of him, then he really doesn't know which way is up! Here are a couple of things that I hope gives you strength....

"You can measure a man by the opposition it takes to discourage him."
---Robert C. Savage

You are stronger than his words and you have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Those are the things our forefathers promised us as our rights. Now, what is the pursuit of happiness?.....That is up to you to find, but knowing you for a couple of years I would say it is riding a cub cadet. Also, here is another quote, but you have to watch the video link to fully understand what it means....

"Doubt has killed more dreams than failure ever will." ---Parker Mantell

Here's to you buddy...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
