I have to be missing something. Dozer blade

Went to install my blade today on my Cub 1200. The front ears match fine, however the ears on the lift arm won't match up with the blade. See picture. I'm new to these tractors.

On my 126 & 127 those arms off the blade go onto the rod that runs under the floor boards... mine goes between the floor boards and the frame.....But i am new on this stuff so i could be wrong also??????

the notches in the blade should go onto the bar going across for the foot rests.

You are not far enough back or high enough. There is a welded bar across the frame that goes just under the footrests. You should see the wear/contact marks where it was previously. Those hangers are primarily for your deck lift attachments etc. I had to install mine today using a bungee cord to hold up those back (forks), and the block up the front with 2x4's and rolled the tractor into it to engage the front catches, I also had that wedged open with a block of wood.

The picture is from a NF but it's basically the same on yours. The ears you pictured go onto the bar that goes across from footrest to footrest. ( underneath the bracket with the arrows pointed at it )
