I won't go to auctions, its a waste of time since there's always two idiots that just have to have something and bid a $500 item up to $1500.
I was at an auction once and there was an old ford tractor there that was worth at most $1500 in the condition it was in, the winner paid $4000 and was just happy as could be about it. I guess money doesn't buy brains.

Well spoken. I go to a big farm auction every year and there's usually a cub or 2 there. Last year an 1811 rolling chassis with brand new ag tires on the rear brought $350. The winner bought it strictly for the tires. That was my plan also just not for $350.
