Haban 374 lift wear
Recently picked a well used Super. Check out the wear on the deck lift pieces. I guess the previous owners liked to mow with the deck suspended. I have never seen lift arms so worn before. It has a date with the welder coming. Anyone ever seen them this worn before? The deck is in better shape, luckily.

I just went thru all that... Mine was just about that bad.. including the rockshaft under the tractor.. and all the holes in the lift carriage and the deck hangers and the gauge wheels.. Quite a few hours with the welder and grinder, lathe, and drill took care of all of it though. It lifts to full height now and doesn't have all that rattling and banging going on! I should've taken more pictures.. here is a link to my thread covering the rebuild..
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the lift carriage. SamMac also has some good threads on here about Haban 374's.. I got a lot of good info out of his posts http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/showt...t=Haban+refurb

Had to do a bunch of welding and grinding on mine as well under my 2072. Bottom line is that undercarriage isn't made to carry the deck, but a lot of folks ran them that way. I re-did the worn out wheels on mine so it can ride on them completely.

Yep, pretty common. Weld, grind, weld some more, grind some more and you'll be happy.
