Default Creeper gear nf question
How long of a 1/8" clove nipple do I need for 124 with a creeper gear for the vent ?

The parts book calls for a 2-1/4" nipple.

FWIW: a "close" nipple is any size nipple, that is the least possible length appropriate to it's diameter, that allows sufficient threads on either end for proper seal, the rest are just nipples of any stated length.

( I slept once @ a holiday inn where a plumbers brother inlaw, ex girlfriends ex husband was a also plumber, slept part of the night 20 years ago)

I am not familiar with the term "clove nipple" and I wondered what it is.

So I decided to Google "what is a clove nipple".

Well, I still don't know what one is in terms of tractor or machinery use,
but I sure do now know allot more about sex toys.

Close nipple is one that is just about all threads.
I used a 1/8" x 2-1/2" on my 126, works fine
