I have a 71 that I have a blade to put on but it's more of a lazy put around machine. And I can get one or the other. Even if I got both I'd prolly have to sell one just because I have limited storage space and my astre gets the place in the garage. I'm still up in the air if I'm even going to do the deal. Its a buddy of mine that has it and he's wanting my little 83 nissan 4x4 pickup that I no longer drive. Just tring to justify it more than anything and I've wanted a 2182 for a very long time

I'll stick to a blade. I can push wet heavy stuff like we get most of the time and if I get lucky and we get light fluffy stuff I can push that as well. Sorry it's not a Cub but we all need to do the best with what we have to work with.

To be completely honest, I traded the 122 for another 125 with hydraulic lift.

I haven't used the blade in a quite a few years except for dirt. If it snows, it's going to blow/drift and the QA-42 does a much better job. Plus my wife and I both have 4wd vehicles

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
