Just Thinking
Not long ago GM was building cars in Flint, Michigan and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico. After 7 years of help from Obama and the US Government, GM now builds cars in Mexico and you can’t drink the water in Flint.

The water problem in Flint was a State fiasco under a Republican governor so how do you blame Obama for that?

With Flint in my back yard and knowing this situation real well, it wasn't a State problem but a "Local" problem. But, the jist of the story is true. The roles of car manufacturing and the condition of the water are now reversed.

It doesn't matter republican or democrat. Hasn't been an honest politician in years.

There was also a time when Americans picked their own produce, cleaned their own homes, nanny'd their own children, built their own roads and bridges, barns and houses, built their cars, trucks, washing machines, forks and knives, glasses etc etc etc.
Apparently when no one was looking, someone saw an opportunity and took it. Obamas fault? Reagan? Bush X 2? Clinton X 2??? Nope. The mirror boys, look in the mirror. Until this is realized...nothing will change. It all starts with choices. We still like to shop at the dollar store and Walmart, buy the cheap offshore Chonda engines for our Cubs and equipment...yet we have more disposable income than any generation before us. And we still complain. And our taxes in equivalent dollars is the lowest it's even been. Infrastructure than your dad and grandads paid for is crumbling but no one is willing to ante up. Instead it's another case of beer, an ATV, big screen tv or a 13th collector cub cadet tractor to look at and rub. Your problem isnt Obama gents, it isnt Clinton or Bush or Reagan either. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
