Looks good!! Some of those pieced together tractors are the best!

I like the 102 grilles better anyway!

Got the 121 out today with the Bush Hog Flail mower. Grass was wet and I didn't feel like plugging up the deck on the 1641. Took the muffler off the Power Horse engine, flipped it around so now the exhaust blows out the back instead of at my head. Also removed all the pollution crap on it. It used to run good for 10-15 minutes and then it would shut off from lack of gas to the carb. made me nuts until I realized that it had a spring loaded check valve built into the gas cap. No way it could get air into the tank. Spring and valve no reside in the trash can, problem solved.

Sam, I give ya 3 (at-a-boy)s for that one... I found a southern car mechanic that I like. I broke a spark plug off in the dodge while trying to change plugs. Couldn`t get it out with an easy-out myself and repairmen wanted to pull the head off for big money. This guy said; I can do it. I gave him the truck and came back 20 minutes later. he said "where you been, I had it out 10 minutes ago".

Progress...

I have to redo the fenders bc the plastic on my make shift paint booth blew into both of them....

I plan to paint the rear wheels and hood the same color grey as the front wheels. Something different. Most of the way back together, still needs some small things here and there

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
