new ohv engine ?
Anybody have any input on the 15hp ohv engines, in the newer cubs ? I can get a nice low hour one for a pretty good price. I was thinking of using on my 1211. All it does is plow snow.
Would like to hear if they are reliable, longevity, and will they lug around at low rpms like the 12 hp That is in it will ? Thanks joe

Sold everything but one. 1211-snow pusher, cab ,54 inch plow, loaded tires (all 4) Gilson wheel weights, X-trac fronts- soon to have power steering and dual hydraulics

I can't comment on that particular engine, but in general, the newer engines don't have any torque compared to the K-series and Magnum L-head engines. I have a newer CH18 in my 582, and it's been a good engine so far.
