Looking good as always!!

Great that you found a parts guru to help you with that hard to find stuff! I'm quite sure Case parts are not as plentiful as the cub stuff!!

Your pile looks good.... I really hate all the cleaning and prep for paint... I like to put them back together... that's the fun part!!

Thanks Jay. Yeah Steve is a heck of a nice guy, and real passionate about the Case/Colt tractors. He's been featured on the RFD TV channel's Classic Tractor Fever show a couple of times. A few videos on youtube.
He's just as nuts about that flavor as we of ours. And you be correct, there ain't much for used parts out there, so then you either have to make them or find someone who does.
I was surprised though of his prices. I contacted him awhile back about a hood, that was before I decided to fix mine. And he quoted me just $55 plus shipping, I thought that was very reasonable for a hood.

Not really. I should be WAY further along than I am. Slacker
It'll be some time yet Steve before it's done. But they do look good when they are.
The Original took 13 months at my speed, this one "shouldn't" take that long.

Smile Trailer plates?

A friend on mine, drop of a Gt to have some work done to it. I noticed that he had Michigan trailer plate. Seeing how I know that it his trailer, I ask him about the Michigan tag, seeing how he is an IN, resident. He told me that he used his ex-wifes address in Michigan and for 75$ and a weight bill. Any trailer 2500 lbs and under. it is a life time tag. My 5x8 single axle here in In. this year was 37$. Seeing how Michigan is only 60 miles from the Fort got me thinking. Can any of our Michigan members expand on this?

I apologize that my posting caused you to get your arse up in the air over it. It was my simple mistake, as evidently it has nothing to do with a Case GT. I though I posted it, as a new topic in the general talk section.

Oh my "arse" ain't up in the air, hasn't been for many years. No harm, no foul, just couldn't figure out what the hell you were writing about...
Just don't do it again, cause I'm not responsible for my actions.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
