Hello,
After about an 1/2 hour of mowing,the engine rpm's will suddenly with no reason drop to about 1/2 or 3/4 full throttle.As though something pushed my throttle lever back.I then have to mow the rest of my yard taking smaller cuts.How would I check the vent cap,maybe leave the cap cracked loose the next time I mow? Thank's Again, Rick

Allow the cap to be loose enough(or completely off if possible) to allow it to vent directly and try it. That will eliminate one easy-to-fix situation. Kinda doubt that is it because of the length of time it takes, but you never know.
