Default Question about snow plow and mower deck
Hey everyone, this is my first post! I've tried looking for the answer before posting this but couldn't find anything....i have a cub cadet 122 and I just recently purchased a 1977 cub cadet 1000 with a mowing deck and snow plow! Will the snow plow and deck off the 1000 fit on the 122? Just by putting the plow up to the 122, it doesn't seem like it will fit! The 1000 has what appears to be some kind of quick connect on the front? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

It won't fit, the 1000 is a wide frame tractor and the 122 is a narrow frame tractor. The plows are the same but the undercarriage that hooks to the tractor is different.

they won't fit both.
Unless you alter them with some cutting and welding.

thanks for the info.. is there a certain part i should be looking for in order for the plow to fit?

A narrow frame blade, or subframe for the blade, and a narrow frame mule drive and likely a triangle deck.

The 122 wasn't even a quick mount system, so making the quick mount deck will be a chore. It has been done, but you have to have the right combination of undercarriage to make the deck work.

Basically, you need to find all narrow frame attachments for your narrow frame tractor.
