Doesn't really have much for sale.... or any better prices than anyone else.
Says he "specializes" in pulling parts, yet only carries a stock clutch and a red spring.

I've delt with him once. I agree with Jon. No difference then any other dealer. Not one to negotiate prices. I wasn't impressed, plus the drive was long.

I'm thinking they are new stamped shells, or a whole new replacement... that is about what they used to sell for. It's not just a used deck, unless I misunderstand.

Yea, I never made a business transaction with this vendor. As said, how the link came about. Who knows, might help some one else out. One thing that get's me is, if I needed a $15 part from an online parts vendor, I'd be looking at ,... say, 10 to 15$ shipping charge no matter what the part is.

Just an FYI
Patton Acres has shipping built in to their pricing on most items, no additional shipping charge. Also he is a great guy to deal with and a sponsor of this site.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
