|
those are pretty simple tranny's , allot of manufacturers used them in their lawn tractors. they were Peerless transaxles. Tecumseh Products used to own them. not sure who owns them now. Deere was a big user of them . most parts interchange. they had different mounting pads and axle widths from model to model but the guts were the same. there isn't anything inside that would slip.

Here's a pic of the serial tag on dad's 382. Its under the seat at the very back of the machine. Sorry its so dirty. You can see the tag is IH.
