You old timers should use some positive leadership skills to groom younger members instead of crying and whinny about them

Younger members could view you people as bunch of grumpy old men.

How about leading by example instead of complaining....you all know as well as myself that complaining solves nothing and only drives people away.

I understand and agree that some people are lazy and ask without doing their simple due diligence. My problem is that some on the forum assume that's the only reason some questions are ask when they really have know idea about the person asking. Also I totally disagree with putting down others stuff or accomplishments with out truly knowing the full story. Whether intended or not there is definitely a holier than thou attitude that comes across.

I think maybe when J or Sam have answered "Why don't I have spark" for more times than you have posts, you could cut them some slack on being short with people. I couldn't do it,my tolerance level is much too low.
Too many people on here are quick to criticize, but don't put in the time to help
out everybody. And they do put in the time.

Take a look back at my early post. started on 07-20-2013. By the first of the year I had gone from knowing NOTHING about Cub Cadets to one of the guys answering questions. I did this by Researching on the web, Books, watching others, and the big one making mistakes. We are not complaining about people asking questions at all. Leading by example is by definition is "say one thing, but do another" I would say that by asking people to Researching there question on the internet 90% of the time the answer can be found. then if they need clarification by all means ASK. but asking things like "I have a model 70 It wont start, can anyone tell me why"????????
Think before you post........ the question is not the problem the lack of any information is. then when someone dose answer the question like where to start the poster says " I did that" or "How do you do that". and when we point them to a post that walks them through it you get " I dont think thats the problem" GRRRRRRRR/
All of us have always helped many new members and i mean MANY, so I'm sorry if I come across as "holier than thou" or an A&# Hole, it is not my intention.
Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm not a Smart person, I spent most of my life as a GRUNT in the Army. my IQ is low, BUT I have no issue with working hard for something I want and want to learn. which is how I went from knowing nothing about them to building bigger and better things.

People like Rescue11, Sam Mac, J-Mech,Zippy1 ECT, are amazing artist in different areas a few in all areas. so i think personally they should be given
some slack on being short with people now and then,
JMHO....

This will be my last word on this, as I did not mean to hurt anyones feelings, or cause a ruckus.

I enjoy this forum and it's members have help me in so many ways, made some good friends I have never met, and plan on continuing that relationship.

So thank you to all, and Keep up the amazing work.
And please remember We are all human, we all have bad days, we all get irritated now and then, and we all want this forum to continue and prosper.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
