So true! I didn't need the 1864 that I recently picked up. So since I didn't have one I must have needed one. Keeps me out of the bars.

A none running 1811 ($150-$200)with a blade($100-$250) and a 42"deck ($100t-$150) for $300? Offer him $250 and swap a Command engine in it ($400-?) or a running Magnum ($200-$300), you end up with a good and true GT but if this project don't appeal to you, keep the blade and sell the none running 1811 with his deck. Who knows you may end up with a free blade.

Could even put a single cylinder in it easily, my 1211 does everything I ask it to.
