Same here. I could really use a nose piece and a decent hood. I have been trying to find a cheap donor but cyclops are hard to come by around here. Especially with Sam so close.

They're out there. I just picked up this fully intact 1641 with good plastic in Winchester Va for $250. It needed a seat obviously. I live in south central PA. I only bought it for the motor, and then my mind started thinking I may just use it as a mower because it's a big boy, and I have 6 acres.

Good buy but six acres will wear you and that tractor out real quick.

I probably should clarify that, I have two acres of grass, and 4 acres of pasture/field. I only knock down the 4 acres 3 or 4 times a hear, and I have a 60" swisher trail mower for that.
There are plastics on ebay from time to time. There is a local guy here who has some and will ship from trevorton pa. He posts on craigslist all the time, just look up cub cadet parts on craigslist in Harrisburg pa and you'll find him. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
