Not sure, it was a single wheel extended cab but didn't have any badges on it.

You guys know how it works though. Guys like that never have anything happen to them. It's people like us that worry and tie stuff down with straps, chains, binders, you name it. We're the ones that end up having trouble.

You are right. Lots of people out there surviving by blind luck. Me not so much.

Wow....
I don't know that I would have let it leave.... and that's coming from me, the "jerk". I would just hate the thought of all my hard work ending up in a big heaping pile before the customer got it. Now, if it was the owner.... it would have been different: "See ya, buddy! Hope you make it home with it!"

We've been down this road plenty of times and the owner never wants to hear it, they never want to hear that the fly by night company they hired for next to nothing is going to potentially destroy their freshly restored tractor. Most owners arnt much better, they usually show up planning to haul with chains around the axles without a care that it's going to destroy the paint. We could have called the customer but at a certain time you have to stop holding people's hands, we were told several times that the guy coming knew what he was doing and would have the proper equipment to safely haul it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
