Ok deal if it runs good. Missing the front emblem and the wheels are repainted not the right color of white. They are too white. Other than that just the usual items that they all will need. Rag joints, trunion, etc.

That is a very fair price. He did put obo, and I am guessing that is not him misspelling "oboe", so you could offer $1200 to start the negotiations. I am not for sure what he means by the deck being 60%. Perhaps he means 60 inches? But that cannot be a 60" deck, but rather a 50" deck, so that may give you some further negotiation power since he thinks he has more there than what he really does.

My 982 did not come with the 3 point or the rear pto extension......and I wish that it had! You may score it for around $1300......Keep us posted!!

For 12-1300 you can get a nice 1872 or 2072 with power steering and a haban... Front ports...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
