Default 2185 with 550 hours followed me home

I bought it for the CH18, but was hoping to run it some. It does not run. I have not tried to start it and the PO thinks it is a bad fuel pump. (It came with a new fuel pump and quite a few other parts. It was the PO's intent to get it running again and give it to one of his kids. He just never got around to it.

It has set for a couple of years. The 48" deck will not turn. We tried pulling on a blade and it wouldn't budge. The pulleys are very rusty.

Anyway, IF I don't get it running, are there any parts that are in demand for these? If someone on this forum needs some part off of it I'll send it to you if you pay the shipping.

I got the tractor for $150 and had to drive about 60 miles to get it. Some might call it a smokin' deal. I say, the Cub's all get prettier as the price goes down.

The following picture is not the tractor I bought.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
